SYCAMORE - A 20-year-old Sycamore man is facing a number of charges after his vehicle was reportedly found in a field on Saturday night. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office say they were called to the intersection of Peace Road near Bethany Road in Sycamore for a car in a field. During their investigation, they say they found a bag of a white powdery substance in plain view on the driver's seat, and a similar bag in the glove box. Deputies say they field tested positive for cocaine. Jose Baradas was later located and transported to the DeKalb County Jail. He has been charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor, and Failure to Report an Accident to Police.
