OREGON - A Mt. Morris man will be spending 8 years in prison for Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse. An Ogle County Judge on Monday sentenced 58-year-old Steven K. Irvin after he was convicted of abusing a minor female. He was investigated by the Mt. Morris Police Department back in May of 2022. According to the Ogle County State’s Attorney Mike Rock, Irvin’s criminal record qualified him for an extended term sentence in the Illinois Department of Corrections.
