GENOA - A single vehicle crash that DeKalb County Deputies say was caused by a driver disregarding a stop sign sent one person to a hospital in Rockford. Authorities say around 8:45 PM on Wednesday at the intersection of Hayes Road and Derby Line Road in Genoa, a 54-year-old from Genoa left the roadway and the vehicle overturned. They were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. No citations were issued.
