ROCHELLE - Outdoor plans may have to be put on hold as a series of storms will bring heavy rain and thunderstorms across Northern Illinois. The National Weather Service say some areas could see over 2" of rain especially towards the Mississippi River. Flash flooding will be possible for urban, low-lying, and poor drainage areas. Storms are expected Friday and Saturday night, with the potential for some of those to be severe.
