ROCHELLE - The Government Finance Officers Association has awarded the certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 9th year in a row to the City of Rochelle for its annual comprehensive report for the fiscal year ending December 31st, 2022. City Manager Jeff Fiegenschuh shared the announcement during the city council meeting last week. He praised Rochelle Finance Director Chris Cardott and her team for making this possible.
“The certificate of achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of governmental accounting and financial reporting” he said, “and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment for the government and its management.”
