SHABBONA - A semi-truck and a shed are a total loss after a fire near Shabbona on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities were called around 4:20 PM to the 1900 block of Lee Road for the fully involved blaze in what was described as a 100’ x 40’ shed. Multiple agencies battled the fire, including Shabbona, Lee, Somonauk, Paw Paw, Waterman, Ogle-Lee Fire Protection District, with support from Malta, Earlville, Rochelle, Hinckley, Sycamore and DeKalb Fire Departments. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
